This work of art captures the moment of creating a new life via the unity of water, the source of life, and sun rays, the source of energy, on a semi-spherical base symbolizing the Korean Peninsula. Its message is that the prosperity Korea enjoys today is based on the sacrifice of the patriotic fighters in the past and will continue to grow in the days ahead.
