Jipgyeongdang Hall

After the construction of Gyeongbokgung Palace and its gradual expansion, the area north of Gyotaejeon Hall began to be filled with many buildings. Jipgyeongdang Hall is one of such buildings located to the south of Hyangwonjeong Pavilion, which managed to survive the Japanese Invasion of Korea, the frequent fires, and the Japanese Occupation. It was used as one of the bedchambers in the inner palace of the palatial complex.
